Pinball Bazaar is a small, invite-only preview for finding pinball machines for sale. This page says exactly what we store about you and what we do with it — in plain language, because that's how we'd want it explained to us. Last updated July 3, 2026.
What we store when you sign in
Your email address, and a random account id. The email exists so we can send you one-time sign-in links — there are no passwords here. That email is the only piece of personally identifying information we keep, anywhere. We never ask for your name, phone number, address, or payment details.
What we store as you use the site
Things you choose to do: listings you save, searches you save, machines you watch, issue reports and ad submissions you send us, and which listings you've already seen (so the map can show you what's new since your last visit). All of it is tied to your random account id — not your email.
Rate limiting, cookies, and tracking
To prevent abuse, we keep a one-way fingerprint (a hash) of your network address for about an hour around sign-in attempts. Your actual IP address is never stored. The only cookies we set are functional ones: the invite-gate cookie, your sign-in session, and a couple of short-lived cookies that secure the sign-in form itself. There are no tracking cookies, no analytics scripts, and no ads.
We send exactly one kind of email: the sign-in link you asked for. No newsletters, no marketing, nothing else. Delivery runs through Resend, our email provider.
Who else touches this data
The infrastructure that runs the site: Vercel (hosting), Turso (database), Resend (email delivery), and Cloudflare (domain and DNS). They process data only to run the site. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone else, ever.
The machine listings shown on the map are public ads from other websites — we link out to the original ad rather than copying it. Nothing about you is ever attached to a listing.
Deleting your account
Email pinballbazaar@gmail.com from your sign-in address and we'll delete your account and your email, along with the things tied to it: saved listings, saved searches, watched machines, and any ad submissions. Issue reports you sent us stay in our fix-it queue but lose any connection to your account. Deleted data also leaves our short-term backups as they rotate out, within a few weeks.
